Instructor for the Nature Management Program at Karolinska High School

Do you have practical experience in agriculture and forestry and want to work closely with students in a varied everyday life? We are now looking for an instructor for the Nature Management Program at Karolinska High School.

About the position

As an instructor in the Nature Management Program, you will be a central part of the practical teaching in agriculture, forestry, and equestrian studies. You will work closely with both students and teachers, contributing to creating a safe, secure, and educational environment. Your role is to ensure that teaching runs smoothly in our practical environments and that machines, vehicles, facilities, and equipment are in good condition. The work involves a wide variety of tasks related to the operations, such as harvesting, maintenance, repairs, and practical support during the teaching process. You will also be responsible for the operation and management of vehicles and fuels.

As an instructor, you will be an important link between the school and the labor market. You will collaborate with colleagues in daily work and with actors in the forestry and agriculture sectors to contribute to a current and realistic education for our students.

Examples of tasks:

• be responsible for maintenance and minor repairs of machines and equipment
• work with harvesting and care of crops
• handle vehicles and fuels in a safe and structured manner
• ensure the maintenance of facilities and practical environments
• collaborate with industry councils and APL placements to create good conditions for students' internships

About the workplace

You will belong to the Nature Management Program at Karolinska High School and be stationed at the Kvinnersta area. You are also linked to GAF's janitorial organization.

Karolinska High School is part of the Gymnasial and Labor Market Administration. Qualifications

Requirements:

• completed high school education
• BE driver's license
• experience in agriculture or forestry
• experience in welding
• experience in driving tractors

Meritorious:

• completed lift training and experience in operating lifts
• motor and brushcutter license
• experience in scaffolding work
• experience in operating forestry machines

Scope and start date

Employment type: permanent position

Employment rate: 80-100%

Start date: June 1 or by agreement
